Toronto, ON, March 18, 2025 – ������Ƶ is deeply concerned by the return to hostilities in Gaza, with overnight airstrikes that have killed at least 400 people, many of them children and women.

These airstrikes directly threaten the lives of Palestinian civilians as well as civilian hostages in Gaza.

“We condemn this renewed attack against children and all civilians in Gaza,” said Dr Unni Krishnan, Global Humanitarian Director for ������Ƶ. “Children in Gaza have already suffered enough – they have endured the loss of their lives, their families, their homes, their schools, their hospitals, their communities and their humanity. Every day is a struggle for survival. This must end. We call yet again on all parties to respect International Humanitarian Law, for unhindered access to humanitarian assistance and constructive engagement by all parties leading to a permanent ceasefire, now.”
